At the helm...

Lori M. Dixon, PhD and Mark A. Iott have co-owned Great Lakes Marketing since 1985.  Dr. Dixon and Mr. Iott worked at Great Lakes Marketing for seven and sixteen years respectively before becoming owners of the corporation’s stock.  Dr. Dixon has been with Great Lakes Marketing for over twenty-five years and Mr. Iott has been with the company for over thirty-five years.  Collectively, our principals share over sixty years of marketing research experience.

Founded in 1964, Great Lakes Marketing is now nationally recognized for having quantitative and qualitative marketing research expertise.  Great Lakes Marketing provides marketing research services, consultation and support that is accurate, prompt, and executed to the highest standards of quality.

As a full-service marketing research and marketing consulting company, Great Lakes Marketing operates an on-site telephone-interviewing center and focus group facility at our office.

Great Lakes Marketing has been providing marketing research information to a wide variety of national, regional and local clients for more than forty years.  The company has extensive experience working with clients related to consumer and industrial products, the automotive aftermarket, utilities, healthcare and extended care, banking and financial services, community service agencies, packaging and child-resistant (CR) packages.

Great Lakes Marketing conducts telephone interviews, mail and Internet surveys nationwide and internationally. We also collect data using focus groups, product trials, depth interviews and other types of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.

Great Lakes Marketing has provided Child-resistant (CR) safety package and closure protocol testing since the early 1970s to help package and product manufacturers meet the requirements of the Poison Prevention Packaging Act of 1970.  Testing is done in accordance with the CPSC, CSA or EPA regulations.
